Photograph a nonprofit's biggest event of the year so the girls, their families, the sponsors and the organization each leave with images of their own moment.
An award brunch for a girls' leadership nonprofit has more audiences in one room than it first appears. The girls and their families want their moment on stage. Sponsors need to see that their support was seen. The organization needs images it can use to raise next year's money.
The program moves quickly: a welcome, performances, the girls' own speeches, lunch, then a long run of awards ending with the Empowered Girl of the Year. Every one of those moments happens once.
We covered the Live Life Golden Premier Brunch at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport with two photographers and a videographer.
Start with the room. The stage set, the centerpieces and the gold details were photographed before the doors opened, so the people who designed them have a record of the work.
Split the coverage. One photographer stayed with the program while the other ran the portrait station for families, partners and sponsors.
Deliver it the way it will be shared. The presenting sponsor's photos were pulled into their own folder, every image came in a social size, and a Live Life Golden frame was built from the event's own stage graphics.
A full gallery of 1,897 edited photos, organized by part of the day: venue and decor, portraits, group photos, arrivals, the opening program, the luncheon and the awards.
A highlights set of 343 images, branded frame versions, and a dedicated folder for the presenting sponsor.
A recap film from the same day is in production and will be added to this page.
